Part of our end of summer “Desert collection”, the Sonoran tribal runner is a truly unique vintage rug with pops of pastel and lots of sparkle. We really mean sparkle because the woman who wove this piece years ago incorporated glitter in the wool and also with accents of sparkle in cotton pieces that were likely pieces of clothing that she wove into the rug for good luck. The star pattern in this runner also symbolizes good luck. This rug is slightly askew which is not uncommon in primitive tribal rugs since they were handwoven and we see these traits as unique characteristics.
